Image : A 3-D Underwater Soundscape

In a comparison of a traditional narrow band acoustic image of the ocean on top, with a broadband image on the bottom, the broadband system shows individual fish, whereas the narrow band system provides a more ambiguous image. (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution)
