Knorr Voyage 185 Planned Acoustics Schedule - Hodgkiss
Source tows
- LF (J-15) will occurr in 3 separate source tows
- Tonals at 53, 103, 203, and 253 Hz
- Tonals at 303, 403, 503, 703 and 953 Hz
- FM sweeps at 100-900Hz with 1 sec duration and repeated continuous
- MF (ITC-2015) will occur in 2 separate source tows
- Tonals at 1503, 2003, 2503, 3003, 3503, 4003, and 4503 HZ
- FM sweeps at 1500-4500 Hz with 1 sec duration and repeated
Source transmission contraints:
- Not transmitting in the 900-1100Hz so not to conflict with AWACS
- Not transmitting LF for 7.5 m#
# 1200hr (local) on Jul 28 started, cycled throughin every half hour to avoid source moorings
Oceanus Planned Acoustics Schedule - Frisk
Planned working area will be at end of alongshelf path
- Area will be box with corners at latitudes 39 13.0, 39 19.0 N and longitudes 72 55.0, 72 48.0 W
- The J15-3 source will be transmitting CW tones at 50, 75, 125, and 175 Hz for periods of 12-18 hrs.
- We hope to do this experiment 4 times during the period Aug. 30 - Sept. 5.
